I was born in Leningrad in 1978. In 1980s-1990s I was learning violin at music school (first at the St. Petersburg Musucal Lycee at the Kikin Hall and then at the Mravinsky School of Arts) and at the Musical College of the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Then, in 1997, I had to leave Russia and did not have a chance to continue my musical education. In 2000s I was studying business administration, management and finances at the Kingsborough Community College and at the Pace University, NY, USA.
Despite that I saved my interest and love to classical music, stringed instruments and especially violins. I was searching and collecting rare fine stringed instruments and bows, exploring each and every instrument and confirming its authenticity. My collection consists of instruments and bows by Italian, French and German luthiers. Each piece has a certificate by best and reknowned world experts.
Now I continue collecting instruments and my main interest is to consult people who would like to find the best instrument for themselves: for learning, working, hobby or for their own collections.
Hi, I'm Aleksandr Rukin
